Complete Sample Storage Solution
Micronic offers a complete line of sample storage tubes that fit in the 96-well, 48-well or 24-well ANSI/SLAS standard (formerly recognized as the ANSI/SBS standard) rack format. The comprehensive range includes tubes with volumes ranging from 0.30ml to 6.00ml which are suitable for the most common laboratory storage applications. The tubes are available non-coded, alphanumeric coded or with a unique 2D Data-Matrix code (adhere to the ECC200 standard) on the tube bottom, which can be combined with a 1D barcode on the tube side. In addition, Micronic offers special tubes including the Tubestrip-8 and Amber Tubes for light sensitive samples. Through our line of compatible storage racks, sealing products, reading and (de)capping equipment and sample management systems, Micronic is able to offer you a complete solution for sample storage & preservation.
Our most recent innovation is a sustainable rack range, made from 99% renewed materials. These sample storage racks aim to set a new standard in the world of labware, by cutting down on the use of plastic. The Eco-Friendly-Choice Racks are available in 96-well format for the following tube sizes: 0.5 ml, 0.75 ml, 1.10 ml and 1.40 ml. No compromises have been made on the quality of the racks, as they adhere to all quality standards comparable to those of racks made from virgin material. The EFC Racks are available in regular or refill form, allowing the base rack to be reused with the latter. The EFC Refill Racks have proven to reduce eco-costs and carbon footprint by 61% and 69% respectively.* Additionally, these racks have been awarded with an ACT label with a score of only 23.9.
Micronic also offers various Starter Packs of its products. These complete packages offer everything you need to get started with Micronic sample storage labware, including sample tubes, sample racks, code readers and cappers/decappers. The Starter Packs are available in different configurations, depending on the size of your lab and your research needs. Different kinds of tubes are available, among which V-bottom tubes, tissue tubes, low-volume tubes, as well as different kinds of caps, including screw caps and push caps.
