Discover Micronic’s 2024 highlights: innovations and collaborations

In February we participated in the SLAS 2024 International Conference & Exhibition, a crucial event in the world of laboratories and life science. Here we demonstrated our latest innovations like the EFC Rack Range. We are happy to participate in the new edition of SLAS in just over a month.

In April we launched our Eco-Friendly Choice Rack Range, a breakthrough in the world of labware. The EFC Racks RM are made of 99% renewed materials, enabling laboratories to cut down on plastic waste. Our in-house material renewal process allows us to produce these racks with the same quality as racks made from virgin material.

In May, participants of the Dutch foundation Flevoland Fietst Tegen Kanker cycled to the top of the Alpe d’HuZes, in an effort to raise money for a good cause, in this case cancer research. Micronic is proud to have contributed to this charity and to have been an official sponsor of this event. A total of €72.109,63 was raised by the outstanding cyclists!

In September we proudly introduced an addition to our eco-friendly rack range; the EFC Refill Rack. This rack allows laboratories to re-use a base rack, while swapping out the renewable portion, saving laboratories on monetary and environmental resources. Importantly, the refill rack is also certified according the ACT Ecolabel.

In September we also participated in the World of Technology & Science trade show in the Netherlands, where the worlds of technology and laboratory science are combined to showcase the latest advancements in the field. Our eco-friendly choice rack range was highlighted in a beautiful way with a moss tower.

Another great event in September was our Open House Family Day at our manufacturing facility in the Netherlands. Here we invited family members of employees to discover what Micronic is all about and to receive a tour of our headquarters. It was a great and insightful day, with good food and a good vibe.

In October we were happy to invite several scientists from University Medical Centers across the Netherlands for an interesting day at our facility, with updates on eco-friendly sample storage and a tour of the manufacturing plant. It was our pleasure to show our customers how our labware is made and inform them about the latest advancements.
