Isolating and separating suspensions and liquids is a common practice in chemistry, biology, biotechnology, clinical medicine and other life sciences. During these procedures, laboratory centrifuges expose samples against high relative centrifugal forces. In the Tech Note ‘Relative Centrifugal Forces’ centrifugal testing was performed to determine what relative centrifugal force (RCF) Micronic labware can withstand. You can request the Tech Note here...

The Alphanumeric code corresponds with the position of the tube in the rack (e.g. A1). The code is therefore unique per rack. A 1D Barcode is the standard 'barcode' (type 128B). With a standard barcode the data that is stored can only be numerical (i.e. a series of numbers). The 2D Data-Matrix is an open 2D code and is laser-etched on the bottom of the tube. Both the 1D barcode and 2D Data-Matrix code can be customized.
