Type of racks

The Answer

Micronic Storage Racks are based on the global recognized ANSI/SLAS standards (formerly recognized as ANSI/SBS Standards). We offer our racks in 138-, 96-, 48- and 24-well format. The sample storage rack range features a laser-etched 1D rack barcode on one side of the rack and for five racks (96-1; 96-Q1; 96-2; 96-3 & 96-4) an additional 2D Data-Matrix code on the bottom. Furthermore, it features a twist-lock to prevent tubes from turning during screw cap (de)capping. Our ULT-Racks are suited for Ultra-Low Temperature storage. The ULT-Rack Range and the Comorack-96 are made of Polycarbonate (PC).

The Micronic sample storage rack range features a laser-etched 1D rack barcode on one side of the rack and for specific rack types an additional 2D Data-Matrix code on the bottom.
