Micronic is a recognized training company and offers work placements to students as part of their studies. Internships are available at different departments, such as finance, HR, marketing, sales, manufacturing engineering, quality and product development. It is worthwhile mentioning that several students decided to continue their career at Micronic after their internship. Below you can read more about the experiences of one of our interns at the manufacturing engineering department.
“I’ll introduce myself first. My name is Maurice Holster and I am a third year engineering student at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences.”
A former classmate of mine works at Micronic, after he did an internship at Micronic. When I searched for an internship in my third year I decided to send him a message and heard that there was room for an internship at Micronic.
Micronic is a medium sized company, which results that there is a variety of opportunities for several assignments. Micronic moves more and more to automated work, which is something I am interested in to work on later on in my career.
I am working on a machine that places external threaded screw caps in a carrier.
So far it has been great to do an internship at Micronic. The company is very innovative and offers a lot of freedom, flexibility and out-of-the-box thinking. This in combination with good supervision will hopefully lead to a good end result.
