Internship at Micronic

Micronic is a recognized training company and offers work placements to students as part of their studies. Internships are available at different departments, such as finance, HR, marketing, sales, manufacturing engineering, quality and product development. It is worthwhile mentioning that several students decided to continue their career at Micronic after their internship. Below you can read more about the experiences of one of our interns at the manufacturing engineering department.

How did you hear about Micronic?

A former classmate of mine works at Micronic, after he did an internship at Micronic. When I searched for an internship in my third year I decided to send him a message and heard that there was room for an internship at Micronic. Intern Maurice

Why did you choose Micronic for your internship?

Micronic is a medium sized company, which results that there is a variety of opportunities for several assignments. Micronic moves more and more to automated work, which is something I am interested in to work on later on in my career.

What assignment are you working on?

I am working on a machine that places external threaded screw caps in a carrier.

What is it like to do an internship at Micronic?

So far it has been great to do an internship at Micronic. The company is very innovative and offers a lot of freedom, flexibility and out-of-the-box thinking. This in combination with good supervision will hopefully lead to a good end result.
