6.00ml Tubes Internal Thread

The 6.00ml Micronic storage tube in 24-well format has a large working volume of 4.80ml (working volume at +21ºC). These tubes are available Non-coded or with an unique 2D Data Matrix code. The 6.00ml Non-coded tubes provide a cost-effective solution for low temperature storage without compromising sample quality and safety. The tubes with a 2D Data-Matrix code permanently laser-etched on the bottom identify the sample, its coordinates within a 24-tube storage rack, the particular rack and the location of the rack in your freezer.

For highly accurate and reliable results – Micronic 6.00ml tubes are produced from medical-grade polypropylene. To ensure high sample integrity, even down to ultra-low temperatures, Micronic also offers a ‘single turn’ screw cap that stays securely in place even during repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

100% quality control on 2D codes

The 2D Data-Matrix codes on Micronic sample storage tubes are permanently laser etched on the tube bottom so that they can never wear or fall off. Due to the optimal symbol contrast, modulation and print growth, and Micronic’s 100% quality control on all 2D codes, the 2D codes can be easily read by scanners and readers. The 2D Data-Matrix codes are guaranteed unique and also have a human-readable code. The special custom 2D code service from Micronic enables customers to choose their own prefix of three digits which are followed by ten predefined digits which are also guaranteed unique.
