A small benchtop solution that can read 2D codes quickly and cost effectively within seconds. The compact readers are built for high throughput and automated systems.
To enable fast, accurate and efficient sample identification, Micronic offers an extensive code reader range which consists of whole rack and single tube readers. The DR700 is equipped with an anti-frost system and a deep focus image sensor ensuring the highest accuracy 2D code reading even if the tubes aren’t flush with the scanner plate or codes are partially compromised. The DR700 has a scan time of approximately 7 seconds. To read 1D rack barcodes simultaneously, a Side Barcode Reader is available.
The Micronic Rack Reader DR500 and DR505 are small benchtop solutions that can read 2D codes quickly and cost effective within seconds. The compact readers are built for high throughput and automated systems. The DR505 version has an anti-frost system, which enables users to read racks filled with 2D codes tubes straight from the freezer. All Micronic Rack Readers are standard supplied with Micronic Code Reader Software to ensure an optimal performance.
“We chose Micronic because of their compatibility with liquid handling robotics, validated ultra-low binding tube properties, highly satisfying split push cap sealing performance, and the assured traceability that their laser etched 1D barcoded rack and 2D coded tubes provide."
At Micronic our goal is to advance research by serving scientists in finding solutions that contribute to a higher quality of life. This is why it makes us particularly proud to supply the researchers of JUST with the consumables they need for their robotic discovery platform.
The University of Edinburgh and the Natural History Museum are using, as part of the 'insect pollinators initiative', the Micronic 4.00ml tube for storing the larger insects in the collection.
Rutgers University Cell & DNA Repository selected Micronic 0.75ml and 1.40ml tubes together with colored TPE caps to provide high integrity, long-term storage of samples at -80°C.
