Micronic Screw Cap Recapper CS700

The Micronic Screw Cap Recapper CS700 line offers users the ability to cap, decap or recap 96 (model CS700), 48 (model CS710) or 24 (model CS720) tubes with Screw Caps in a single action. Designed to improve efficiency, the Micronic Screw Cap Recapper can be used as a stand-alone instrument or be simply integrated into a fully automated laboratory environment. The CS700 decaps Screw Caps from a full tube storage rack in less than 30 seconds! Through the graphical touch screen interface the operator is able to select any rack to cap, decap or recap without using different adapters for different tube sizes. The Screw Cap Recapper uses a precisely determined torque value for optimal sealing quality thereby minimizing sample evaporation and maximizing the integrity of your valuable samples. Additionally, the CS710 and CS720 Recappers are now standard equipped with a Tube Detection Sensor giving even more reliability to the user-friendly recapper.

Micronic offers the CS700 line for use with other brands of tubes and caps (Thermo, FluidX and LVL). This means that if you use sample storage tubes or caps from another brand, it is still possible to benefit from the wide range of qualities our recapper offers.

CAPPING & DECAPPING SYSTEMS

To enhance and accelerate the capping and decapping process, the Micronic (De)Capping line provides you with several options. The Screw Cap Recapper CS100 is developed to improve the manual (de)capping of tubes. The cost-effective tools are set to a precise torque value and stop turning when a perfect seal is established, ensuring an optimal sealing performance. Developed in conjunction with several leading laboratories, the Screw Cap Recapper CS500 offers the ability to cap, decap or recap a row of tubes in less than 5 seconds and a whole rack in only 1 minute. This is 10 times faster than by hand and improves productivity. The automated Screw Cap Recapper CS700 is “must-have” equipment for higher throughput users. The devices are user-friendly and extremely durable and reliable and cap entire racks in 30 seconds.

Micronic received a Good Industrial Design Award (GIO award) for the innovative design of the recapper. The award indicates that the recapper is original, functional, ergonomic, designed with respect for the environment and adds value to end-users.
