Micronic Rack Reader DR710

The high-end Micronic Rack Reader DR710 reads whole racks filled with 2D Data-Matrix coded tubes. By activating the uniquely designed active anti-frost system on the DR710, ambient air is drawn into the scanner where it is cleaned of dust. Warmed dry air in the scanner prevents condensation on the scanning plate when the scanner is used as described in the Getting Started manual. A deep focus image sensor ensures the highest accuracy 2D code reading even if the tubes aren’t flush with the scanner plate or codes are partially compromised. The DR710 accelerates the processing time of racks with frozen sample tubes.

The Micronic Code Reader Software is easy to install, gives reliable code readings and can be smoothly integrated into any laboratory sample database.

Our solutions

Micronic Code Reader Software

Developed on the basis of extensive user feedback, the Micronic Code Reader Software features an automatic re-read function that ensures all the codes in a rack are deciphered quickly. The re-read function reduces downtime in automated workflows. After a rack is scanned, each cell contains a high-quality image of the code and tube ID, as well as a ‘no tube, no code’ feature if a tube cannot be found. Additional useful features include optimal speed for coding and decoding, adjustment controls for brightness, contrast and threshold to optimize tube code display, flexible order of the export fields, software upgrades without losing settings and an enhanced LIMS interface. Furthermore, the Code Reader Software features an automatic code polarity recognition function, which allows users to scan white on black code surfaces and black on white code surfaces. This feature enables users to read 2D codes from black and white surfaces without changing settings. All features in the new software are included as standard at no extra cost with free upgrades and technical support.

The comprehensive Micronic Code Reader Software is fully compatible with all Micronic Rack Readers. The user friendly software is easy to use, gives reliable code readings and can be easily integrated into any laboratory sample database.
