Micronic offers one of the most diverse tube ranges on the market, suitable for various applications and contents. Our volume range spans from 0.3ml to 6ml, offering suitability for genomics applications as well as tissue biobanking. Additionally our tubes are designed to withstand various conditions, on the inside as well as on the outside, allowing them to be filled with a wide range of sample types, like blood, serum, urine, DNA and various chemical solvents. Most of our tubes feature a temperature range of -196°C to +100°C, making them suitable for cryogenic biobanking storage.
In terms of the internal design of the tubes, we offer several options that are catered to the specific needs of researchers. For optimal sample retention, V-bottom tubes are available, whereas for maximum sample volume, U-bottom or round bottom tubes are available. Specifically for low volume applications, Vr-bottom tubes are available, that feature a 0.3ml working volume, featuring great sample retention and specifically designed for low-volume liquid handlers and enabling the miniaturization of reaction volumes.
The closing design of the tubes by Micronic is designed to minimize sample evaporation and enhance ease of use by researchers. We offer internally threaded as well as externally threaded closure systems, with the internal thread featuring internal o-rings, providing an optimal seal. Next to that, we also offer special kinds of caps, like ultra low profile caps, screw caps ultra and push caps.
Our most common tubes however, fall inbetween the range of 0.3ml and 6 ml, as we offer 1 ml, 2 ml, 3ml and many more tube options. This way we aim to be the leading supplier of life science and biobanking tubes for storing all kinds of important samples.
